Josephe Jeanne Marie Antoinette von Habsburg-Lorraine (born November 2, 1755 – died October 16, 1793), Queen of France and Archduchess of Austria. Briefly known as Marie Antoinette or Maria Antonia. She was the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I and his wife Empress Maria Theresa of Austria. She married Louis XVI, the Dauphin of France, at the age of 14. In May 1774, Louis XVI became King of France and she became Queen of France. She was the mother of Louis XVII (the Lost Dauphin). During the French Revolution, she was accused of "treason" and executed by guillotine (1793).
